Your kid runs the stall. You hold the keys.
Zibbo is where kids photograph, describe and price the scooters, Lego sets and trainers they’ve outgrown, and watch them sell. They do the work. You approve the listing and the money. No real names. No photos of children. No addresses. A safe marketplace your kid actually runs.
Launching on iPhone and Android together. These badges go live the moment each store signs off.
Three things we’ll never do. Ever.
Zibbo is a marketplace your kid runs, not a social network. Here’s what that means in practice, before you even download the app.
No child is ever named or shown
No real names, no photos of children, no DOBs, no school names. Kids use an avatar handle and that’s all a stranger ever sees.
Kids never chat with kids
No kid to kid messages, no follows, no social feeds, no friend lists. Every conversation about a sale is between two guardians.
Kids never handle the money
Stripe holds every sale. You approve offers, releases and payouts. Your kid sees a balance go up, never a payment flow.

Your kid does the selling. You do the signing off.
Kids take the photo, write the listing and set the price. You approve it, handle the offer chat, and unlock the money. Two apps, one clear division of labour.
They snap it, describe it, price it.
Your kid photographs the item on a plain background, writes a line about it and picks a price — in their own app. No face in shot. No name in the listing. They tap “Send to my guardian”.
You give it the nod, then it’s live.
You see their listing in the guardian app. You check the price, the photo, the description, and pick how it can be delivered. One tap and it goes live across the UK.
Stripe holds the cash until you say so.
Buyers pay via Apple Pay, Google Pay or card. Zibbo holds the money with Stripe until the item is handed over and you tap “Received & happy”. Then it’s yours.
No child is ever named or shown on Zibbo.
This isn’t a slogan. It’s the architecture. We built Zibbo so a stranger on the network cannot identify, contact or locate any child on it.
No names, ever
Kids use chosen avatar handles like ScooterKid42. Real names, DOBs and school names never touch a listing.
No photos of children
Listing photos show the item only. Any submission with a face is rejected before it goes live. Period.
Guardian approves every sale
Every listing, every offer, every delivery method goes through you. Kids can list but can’t transact. That is non-negotiable.
Postcode district only
Listings show GU2, never an address. The full address is only shared with the buyer’s guardian after payment — and only if you approved collection.
Real money, held safely
Stripe charges the buyer, holds the cash for 72 hours, then pays the seller, only after handover. Disputes pause the release.
One-tap dispute
If something is off, you raise it and the money freezes. Our team gets back to you within 48 hours. No drawn out chargeback fights.
“Finally. A place for my daughter to sell her scooter without me panicking about who’s looking at it. She takes the photos, writes the listing, picks the price. I just sign off the sale.” — Feedback from a London parent, March 2026
“My son loves that it’s his app. He runs it. I’m the till. It’s not TikTok, it’s not a chat app, it’s the first grown up thing he’s doing himself.” — Early user interview, Guildford, April 2026
